Sancho’s Bandra: 3.5 /5

Went to this place on a Thursday evening with friends and I’m glad we make a prior reservation. Although its not required when you reach at 8:30 but gets quite full by 9.30 pm.

The ambience is nice with outside and inside seating options. The music is particularly awesome with foot tapping numbers giving you that Mexican feel.

We started with Fiesta Nachos and as expected it tasted good. Our next on list was Habenaro Chicken and Habenaro Cottage Cheese and both the preparations were finger licking good. Mind you, it was quite spicy but we enjoyed the spice. A second order of usual nachos was good but failed to impress.

Our main course had fajitas – again both chicken and cottage cheese. It is served in a sizzler style tray. Enjoyed the preparation especially the quality of saute vegetables like green peppers and onions. A bowl of burrito was also ordered and was good. Not much comments there as it was veg and I focussed on my chicken fajitas šŸ˜‰

Drinks, however, were not quite impressive – we orders the run of the mill mojito and found it way too minty and bitter. Quite avoidable actually. Also was disappointed that there was no breezers – they would have been great with the spicy Mexican food.

In desert we had something called treche leches.. Sorta like a cake with chocolate topping and another preparation with vanilla. Found the chocolate one way better.

Overall a great experience, good hospitality, drinks can be worked upon and nachos can be made better too.
