Srinathji, Lower Parel: 4/5

I’ve been to Srinathji usually for lunches with my colleagues and have always enjoyed the food. The place has a really nice ambience considering its a small place. The interiors are good but the seating is a bit congested to accommodate the crowd.

What’s interest about the place is that it prepares all its food items Jain style – without using onion and garlic. And even then the taste is amazing for most of d dishes!!

I recommend the following dishes: Srinathji special Nachos – very yummy with cheese n beans n salsa sauce served on d side. We have also enjoyed the Cheese Fondue here. I wouldn’t recommend the spaghetti cheese pasta or even penne arabiatta pasta – both were bland for our taste and oregano or chilli flakes din make them better either.

Their chola bathura is awesome, albeit oily. Really enjoyed it with pickle served on d side. Srinathji special Sizzler is also interesting to taste. Be careful when you order paneer chilly – viz awesome but we said panner chilly grilled without realizing it’s actually a paneer chilly grilled sandwich! That was just okay.

Overall definitely a value for money place that is small but gives a clean feel. Great food for a quick delicious lunch during office hours.
