Ambiance: Very cool, casual yet whacky ambieance – u can spend a lot of time admiring the place with its witty quotes all over d walls. Even the table coasters are all different – makes you wanna read every one of them. All in all, one word to describe this place would be: Engaging!!!! Although I must warn you that it was quite empty at around 8 pm. We were amongst the first people and rightly so since this isn’t a dining place, but a hangout Bar. Post 11 pm, the crowd pulls in and the music becomes electrifying. It takes you to a different energy level altogether.
Drinks: I only tried Rose Sangria and it tasted great. Unlike my experience with most wines, this wasn’t bitter at all. I also tasted Mojito and it was amazing too, albeit v light.
Appetizers: Oh we tried a variety of them and here’s my experience with them: First the okay dishes: Radio Loaded Nachos were grand, cheesy, delicious: no complaints there but nothing to rave about either. Onion Rings: v avoidable as I could taste the batter more than d onion. Now the positive recommendations: atomic wings: baked chicken wings served with parmesan sauce. Although the chicken pieces were small, hence baby wings, the taste was great. Eat it while they are hot!! Lamb skewers: v tender, non chewy and delicious. Chicken roulade with Kalamata olives: I’ve recently fallen in love with roulades and this place din disappoint at all. The chicken meat was perfectly rolled around olives n each bite was wonderful.
Mains: after a heavy dose of appetizers, I focussed my attention to herbed chicken escalapo. The presentation was yet again pretty amazing and the chicken was done right making it tender and juicy. However I couldn’t understand the side, see my picture. Another recommendation would be their pizzas.
Unfortunately there was only one dessert choice: chocolate hazelnut mousse cake. We ordered 2 of these and indeed with each bite you could taste the amazing taste of chocolate – so soft, melted in my mouth. It had the right amount of sweetness – totally loved it.
Value for money: For the price charged, the quantity of food is good and comparable to most restobars like these. Drinks are a tad bit expensive if you’re planning to get drunk. Overall, the energy of the place makes it worth it.
Overall I would say that very few “bars” or lounges have a mix of both amazing food, ambience and music. This place had few hits n misses with d food but the music made up for it.
