Hangla’s, Lower Parel: 1.5/2

Hangla's Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

Visted Hangla’s with colleagues for office lunch and was quite disappointed with the whole experience.

Hangla’s is a small outlet located close to Peninsula Corporate Park near many other small eatery joints. There’s nothing at all to talk about the ambience as its only walls and tables with no décor at all. I’ve been to many small joints like this but they try their best to have some décor in terms of posters, etc. Quite boring in fact.

We first ordered their popular Chicken Biryani which was served within minutes of placing the order. It appears they kept d biryani ready and served whenever someone placed d order. It wasn’t too warm either which was quite disappointing. The biryani was quite dry too and there was no side serving or raita that usually accompanies it. Quite avoidable!

Second was chicken Kebabs served with onions and lime. The dish was not at all good in appearance and the chicken pieces were quite hard and chewy. Only the onions were nice with lime over it. Again, a vey disappointing dish that seemed quite stale too.

Chicken Rolls: This was the only decent dish that we enjoyed as the chicken was not too chewy and the sauce made it juicy. Each bite was with chicken, sauce and onions. Tasted good but nothing wow. In light of other dishes, this was d best.

There is one owner and one server. The owner is courteous but the server is plain rude. Either he is over worked or unhappy with the job, as he was definitely least interested towards the customers.

Overall, quite a disappointing experience and I don’t recommend you to visit Hangla’s or atleast this outlet!!
