The Bombay Bronx, Breach Candy: 3.5/5

The Bombay Bronx Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

This place is located close to Beach Candy Hospital – a location amidst residential area thus resulting into very less crowd during the weekdays. Weekends are however quite buzzing but one can easily get a table.

The place has a kick ass Bombay theme – there’s a photo booth made out of the remains of an Auto Rickshaw viz. so cool!! The walls are painted with Bollywood superstars super famous characters! The cash counter has multiple jars, like the ones we used to find at a local banya shop, consisting of childhood days’ toffees. Brilliant concept. There’s also Mumbai local painted one side of the wall with handles at the top! Amazing décor for sure..!!

The Pani Puri Caprioska was a vodka based cocktail and is served in the base of pani puri’s paani! The drink retained its sweet n spicy taste. We also tried the other cocktail called pani kam chai which was good. Surprisingly the coke I ordered had no fizz! When I asked to replace it, he poured a fresh glass in front of me but that too lacked fizz.

We started with classic fish fingers – this consisted of deep fried fish in the shape of french fries and served with tartar sauce. The quantity was adequate – 6 pieces, enough across 3-4 people. The fish was tender and juicy while the exterior was crispy with deep frying. We also tried chicken baida roti which was just okay. Din quite enjoy this much.

People are polite and service is quick. Nothing extra ordinary to mention. It’s a lounge kinda place where people come to eat, drink and be merry!

Overall, it’s a great place amidst an otherwise silent area. Ambience is quirky, making it very interesting. May visit again if I’m around. Definitely worth a visit for sure.
